"Fogo" is a Portuguese word translating to "fire," representing its essence. It stands as one of the largest outdoor wood-burning fireplaces within our product range.

Designed by Petteri Wiimaa, this fire pit is crafted from Corten steel, nearly pure carbon steel treated to form a protective layer on its surface, ensuring weather resistance. Initially greyish, exposure to weather conditions gradually transforms it into a reddish-brown hue, resembling rust, which deepens over time.

When utilised properly, Corten steel showcases expressive qualities, durability, and requires minimal maintenance, ageing uniquely over time. GrillSymbol sources Corten steel mined and produced in Finland.

The product must not be installed on a wooden surface as the fire pit will become hot from the bottom during the fire. There are holes in the bottom of the fire pit from which small pieces of coal can fall out. The holes in the bottom act as drainage holes to prevent standing water from accumulating inside the fire pit.

Corten steel products can be stored outdoors all year round. Does not require storage.
